======== Email Copy========

Respected Sir/Madam,

Greetings!

I  am  a frequent visitor of many Government websites and applauding the work carried out by the Ministries and their IT team, specially NIC. Now a days, a lot of information and services are available through websites. Creating  awareness through social media sites and moving from web services to mobile based services are  helping citizens.

While, visiting many Govt websites, an idea came into my mind, can not we proudly write ; “Made in India” in all our websites, like Government sites, Educational Websites and other Indian websites etc.

We should proudly write these in our websites in  footer/end of page.

1. Made in India

2. Made in India, for the world

3. Made in India. Made for the world

or any statement that boost and show that the site is in India and  Made by Indians.

I have done these modifications in my websites and suggested many to do the same. Please check it in attached screenshot or at http://ohs.lantok.com & http://lantok.com and I am also decided to put this in other websites, which have had developed by me as freelancer or any way.

I strongly believe that this can make a huge impact in  Search Engine Optimization ( when people search for Made in India) and also in Make in India campaign.

Please revert back with your suggestions and forward this email to the concern person or senior authority to make this campaign successful.

Hoping for the best.

Kind regards,

Indigenous microscope uses peacock feather technology

India on Tuesday launched an ingeniously manufactured microscope that generates 3D images of objects. The Broad Spectrum Confocal Microscope has several applications in medicine and materials sciences. It uses an infra red beam which passes through a patented photonic crystal fibre made by the Central Glass and Ceramics Research Institute (CGCRI), Kolkata.

“The optic fibre produces multiple wavelengths from the laser due to its surface which has very small holes. This is similar to the way a peacock’s feather scatters light. This is projected on to the target object which allows us to see a three dimensional structure of the object,” CGCRI Director Kamal Dasgupta said.

The microscope was developed by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) along with Vinvish Technologies, Thiruvananthapuram, under the New Millennium Indian Technology Initiative, an effort launched by the CSIR over a decade ago to develop technologies through collaborative efforts by research laboratories and technology companies in India.

Recently, WhatsApp quietly introduced a new feature that lets users know that their messages have been read, with the double grey ticks appearing in front of the messages turning blue.

And now, just as quietly, the mobile messaging service is letting users of its Android app disable the feature with the rollout of WhatsApp version 2.11.444. This version is available for users on WhatsApp’s website for now, and will eventually be rolled out to all users.

Here’s how you can disable the blue coloured read receipts’ with the message timestamp on WhatsApp’s Android app:

1. Make sure that your smartphone is running on Android 2.1 or a newer version.

2. Go to settings menu and enable ‘Download from Unknown Sources’ in the Security tab

3. Go to the WhatsApp website and download the APK (application) file available under http://www.whatsapp.com/Android/

4. Once the APK file is downloaded to your device, tap the ‘Install’ option.

5. Now that WhatsApp has been updated, select Settings > Account > Privacy. Under the Privacy tab, uncheck the Read Receipts option.
